Volunteer resident HOA board members, along with an architectural consultant, function as the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). The purpose of the ARC is to review builders’ submissions for new construction, architectural recommendations and owners’ submissions for changes to existing homes. 

The ARC works to ensure that designs meet Oshara Design Code standards for structure, landscaping, drainage, sidewalks, and walls. This ensures quality of construction and design. 

The ARC informs Westgate staff when a violation of the Covenants and Restrictions or of the Design Code is noticed. The ARC works with the Westgate staff to re-establish compliance.
